Welcome to
Bluebell Surgery

Our Patient Reference Group

Bluebell Surgery has established a Patient Reference Group comprising staff representatives and a broad cross section of patients.

The purpose of the Patient reference Group is to:-

  • Create and maintain a good rapport between Staff and Patients
  • Gain Patients feedback on the Services offered at the Surgery
  • Act on ideas, suggestions or concerns accordingly
  • Co-ordinate patients views and discuss survey results

The group aims to have representatives from a cross section of our practice population.  Initially the group was formed with a few volunteers to get the process started.  This relied on face to face meetings after hours at the surgery and has been quite successful.  Now we would like to expand it to enable a much larger number of parients to participate.

Virtual Patient Reference Group

To help us with this, we are setting up a Virtual Patient Reference Group so that you can have your say without the need to attend meetings. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.

We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.  Please click here complete our online Patient Reference Group sign-up form. The questions asked will help us to make sure that we try to speak to a cross section of the patients that are registered at this practice.

Please click on the Minutes & Reports tab above to view our minutes of meetings and patient reports.

This is a chance for you to be really involved to help our community and have your voice heard!

We have already addressed some issues that have been raised in the past:-

  • The lack of information in the surgery. This has been rectified by greater use of the display board (Jayex) in reception and an updated practice leaflet and of course this website.
  • Using the Website to order prescriptions.

Any other ideas for improvement are welcome.

As information is made available, this will be added to this website for your ease.  In the meantime, please do contact the surgery for more information.
